A
great new feature at the official BBC Doctor
Who website is the Photonovel
section. As they say on the site, the photonovels are "missing Doctor
Who adventures lovingly recreated with words, pictures and whatever
else we could get our hands on".
The pictures are the John Cura "Telesnaps", superbly re-scanned and reproduced here, and if you don't know what they are there's a fascinating article giving more information. Also look out for the interview with Marcus Hearn, the man who discovered the telesnaps, he's also the clever bloke who scanned them all so beautifully.
They plan to present a new episode every Friday and have started with Fury From the Deep, The Abominable Snowmen is to follow. Two absolute classics and a must for every fan of the black and white era.
Well done BBC, the site just keeps getting better and better! [view]
You can view archived back issues of "The Disused Yeti", "The Newsletter on Early Doctor Who" here. [view]
The
superb Nothing at the
End of the Lane magazine is produced by the people who brought
you the definitive COI and JV reconstructions. A second issue is
due out in 2005. [view]
Keep an eye on Dominic Jackson's site for the latest information on the Telesnap Reconstructions in the UK. [view]
Check
out Rick Brindell's Loose Cannon site
for details of even more reconstructions, covers and groovy stuff!

For more information and reviews of the Telesnap Reconstructions see Paul Cryer's Site, The Three Doctors. Concentrating on the eras of the first three Doctors (surprise!) it's a must for fans of early Doctor Who (and includes some nice covers). [view]
The
Earthbound Timelords web site is dedicated to Dr Who research
in general but do take a look at their Reconstruction Checklist
which gives a useful rundown of all the various versions of the
fan created Doctor Who video reconstructions. [view]
Please be aware that we do not respond to every request that we add a link to these pages. This is not because we don't like a suggested site but that the listings here are in no way a comprehensive list and will not be regularly added to. We are also usually too busy maintaining and adding content to this site!
With this in mind, it may be better not to ask to be included in this list (as we've found in the past that our not replying can unintentionally offend).
If you would like to link to the Cuttings Archive and are looking for a suitable link image to use on your site there are a number of graphics to choose from on our Link To Us page.
