2000's

As the new millennium began it seemed that there was little for the listings magazines to cover apart from endless repeats on the satellite channel UK Gold. On the whole these consisted of the title Doctor Who and, if we are lucky, perhaps the name of the story in question. For the purpose of this page these are of little interest but there were a few pleasant exceptions including the DVD listing below.

However, from the end of 2003 onwards the 45th anniversary and news of the new 2005 series, starring Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper (and Produced/part written by Russell T Davies), has resuscitated coverage of the programme some of which is presented below.

We can also be sure that come the start of the new series, in early to mid-2005, there will be a massive publicity blitz and much coverage in listings magazines in the Uk and in other countries lucky enough to be getting this exciting new Doctor Who series.
