Authors A to Z - Eric Brown
Eric Brown has published over twenty books and eighty short stories in the SF genre. He has twice won the BSFA short story award, in 2000 and 2002, for "The Children of Winter" and "Hunting the Slarque". His first collection was The Time-Lapsed Man (1990), followed by Blue Shifting (1995). His sixth, Threshold Shift, was published in 2006 by Golden Gryphon in the US. Parallax View, a collection written in collaboration with Keith Brooke, is forthcoming from Immanion Press. His first novel was Meridian Days (1992), followed by Engineman (1994) and Penumbra (1999). The third book of the Virex trilogy, New York Dreams, appeared in 2004, as did his novel Bengal Station. He has published three novellas, A Writer's Life (2001), Approaching Omega (2005), and The Extraordinary Voyage of Jules Verne (2006). Forthcoming from PS Publishing is Starship Summer. His novel Helix will be published in summer by Solaris, and early 2007 will see the publication of the novel Kethani. Eric Brown's SF review column is published monthly in the Guardian.
